UGL is seeking an experiencedSenior Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation)withOil & Gas experienceto join our Kwinana-based team, supporting critical E&I projects atBP Kwinana .We are seeking an experienced engineer who enjoys working in brownfield operating environments and can provide strong technical and project leadership across a diverse portfolio of electrical and instrumentation works within the resources sector.You will be responsible for overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of projects to ensuresafe, compliant, and high-quality delivery, meeting both UGL and client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and uphold UGL's safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety systems, completing risk assessments, and leading by example across project teams.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and best practice engineering requirements.Provide technical leadership and engineering support across the full project lifecycle, including tendering, planning, execution, commissioning, and MDR compilation.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to manage schedules, deliver project milestones, and coordinate client‐supplied materials.Prepare, review, and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project‐specific engineering and construction procedures.Ensure compliance with quality management systems, statutory requirements, and client standards.Support procurement activities, subcontractor engagement, and technical evaluation of suppliers.Prepare project reports and documentation, and maintain clear, effective communication with clients, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and site teams.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualifications and experience).Minimum4+ years' industry experience, including3+ years in a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer role, ideally within Oil & Gas, hydrocarbons, or heavy industrial environments.Demonstrated experience working on brownfield projects and operating facilities within Oil & Gas or energy‐related sectors.Strong working knowledge ofAS/NZS 3000andAS/NZS 60079, with practical application in hazardous area environments.Excellent project delivery capability, with proven leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues, and negotiate effectively.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration and employee benefits, including access to UGL's comprehensive health and wellbeing program.The opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects with a globally respected organisation.Exposure to long‐term client relationships within the Oil & Gas and resources sector.Ongoing support for career progression and professional development in a high‐performance environment.Why Join UGL?We are committed to delivering safe, sustainable, and high‐quality services.We foster collaborative, high‐performance teams that value technical excellence.We encourage innovation and challenge conventional approaches.We value diversity and inclusion, promoting equal opportunity and team‐oriented success.#J-18808-Ljbffr
