Able to run small teams, report back to senior staff and work independently when required, lead by example and support others.

About the role
Storm Restoration are seeking to recruit professional, motivated and experienced Senior, Juinor Technicians and labourers to join our young, innovative company. There are multiple roles available and will be mainly dealing with insurance building and restoration claims, both in residential and commercial settings. It is a hands on job and no two days are the same! Often our clients are going through a stressful time and so friendliness, compassion, a willingness to help clients & provide great customer service is essential. You will be out on the road attending clients businesses and homes and reporting back on your assessments.
In house and external learning & Training Opportunities available .
If able to be to travel interstate for training in head office in Melbourne.

What We’re Looking For
🔹 Experience in restoration (water/fire/mould) or a similar field.
🔹 Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Ability to manage multi-task and work under pressure.
🔹 Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Skills and experience
IICRC trained in Water Restoration preferred but not essential or equivalent.
Demonstrate previous experience preferred but for the right candidate, willingness to learn, training will be provided
Able to assist with heavy lifting/possible confined spaces (with training) ladders etc - this is a hands on role!
Well presented and professional with a Can-Do Attitude
Proficient in using Word, an ipad and laptop.
Have sound communication skills and excellent customer service experience. High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure/fast paced environment within a Team and/or on your own
Available for rotating on call roster that includes weekends or possible after hours work
Able to prioritise and use initiative
Willingness to work in environments that have been affected by fire/water/mould/sewerage
Diligent and timely with reports
Must have a current police and working with children check and white card
Licences required:
Police Check (Required)
Manual driving licence bonus but not essential
White Card (Required)
Drivers Licence (Required)
Work Eligibility:
The candidate can work permanently with no restriction on hours (Preferred)
