This growth has created exciting opportunities for a range of site and project related position vacancies across the group.The Role:The ideal candidates are experienced Site Managers with 10-15+ year's proven track record managing and/or coordinating and controlling all physical aspects of the day-to-day working on Multi-Million Dollar construction projects, whilst ensuring safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements, as well as achieve the agreed quality, program, and financial outcomes.
This role suits someone skilled at achieving results.You will be supported by a committed site/project team and the senior management group.What You Bring:Strong knowledge of building techniques and the ability to work with the team to solve construction issues.Well-developed communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the entire site team.Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff, displaying confidence and respect.Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and be accountable for your work and your site.Key Outcomes of the Role Include:Control all site aspects of the project, including documentation, set-out, contractors, site resources, procurement, liaising with external parties, and safety.Manage day-to-day supervisory tasks on sites, including managing all related site staff and coordinating all resources on sites.Establish and monitor site commitments of time, cost, quality, variation reporting, and program.Develop, review, and monitor the program to ensure daily activities align with project plans.Adopt good operational risk management practices for the project, identifying, assessing, and recording key risks using Manteena's risk and compliance framework.Drive a culture of safety by establishing expected actions and behaviours of yourself and others (including contractors on site) and participate in relevant site safety meetings.Ensure compliance with legislation, regulation, and codes of practice standards and Manteena's systems in relation to the duties of this role and actively participate in required audits.Work with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Manager to create a collaborative team environment to achieve positive outcomes for the project and our clients.Share knowledge and provide coaching and mentoring to other site team members, including construction workers and leading hands.Strong computer skills using programs such as MS Project and MS Office Suite.Relevant construction-related tertiary or trade background will be highly regarded.Manteena Group:Work for the Manteena group and join a company with approximately 45 years of proven excellence in the construction industry.
