What You'll Bring
Experience handling Professional Indemnity claims, including management of litigation and negotiated settlements, alternatively, transferable skills from claims management in other liability insurance classes (e.g., Public Liability, Product Liability) or a robust foundation in law, commercial litigation, and dispute resolution. A Law degree and legal experience in dispute resolution, or prior experience as a liability insurance skilled, is highly regarded. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and make sound decisions. A keen interest in developing expertise in Professional Indemnity insurance. Ability to direct and work constructively with external lawyers. Clear written and verbal communication that supports confident decision making. Strong judgement when working with complex or evolving information. Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills. A collaborative working style that supports consistency across the team. Ability to manage administrative requirements and maintain organised file management.
