We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Operations Manager in our regional office in Townsville. This position plays a pivotal part in overseeing the administration and management of touch football across North Queensland.
Job Description:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all associated activities of the region, including representative teams and tournaments, supporting event delivery, and driving board, affiliate, and member communications. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle competing priorities, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to assist others to deliver exceptional touch football experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Sports Management/Business Degree
* Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check
* Drivers Licence
* Strong computer and IT skills including experience in database management
* Excellent administrative skills and ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in team logistics and/or team management experience
* Understanding of social media and marketing tools and platforms
* Above average written and verbal communication skills
* First Aid Certificate
* Current Provide/Perform CPR
* Previous experience working with volunteers and Not for Profit Associations
* Previous experience using Touch Football Online (TFO) or similar systems
* Knowledge of touch football and/or sporting administration
