The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Librarian (Research and Training) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Work collaboratively with health care and academic partners to develop and deliver programs and services to support research and evidence based practice
- Deliver a high level of knowledge and skill in the provision of library services, including advanced literature searching, client education and resource management
- Assist the Library Manager in strategic development, evaluation and planning of library services and take a leadership role in day to day aspects of library operations
- Use and maintain knowledge of the library management system and other online library platforms
- Provide a commitment to client service, with high level interpersonal and communication skills relevant to effective communication
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- A tertiary degree in library and information studies
- Eligibility for Associate Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Temporary full time (up to 12 months, with a possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $92 836 - $101 526 per annum
