Who could you be at GHD?
Our Group Health, Safety, Environment and Quality team are on the lookout for our next graduate to start with us in 2026! In this role, we're looking for a graduate with adegree in Health & Safety (or related discipline),and someone bringing a passion for occupational, psychosocial and psychological health, possibly with an additional background in psychology (but this piece isn't mandatory).
While this isn't the type of role that will get you out on site, physically hands on with Engineering & Construction projects, it is the kind of role that works in a team which has substantial impact on our broader business.

The position will ideally be based out of Newcastle, where several of our key HSEQ leaders are based, meaning you'll interface and be mentored by leading practitioners in our field
Working on the broad suite of programs GHD employs to secure the health of our people and using available data and governance mechanisms to confirm effectiveness of our approach towards occupational, psychosocial and psychological risks across the global GHD business
Exposure to the intersection of HSEQ, Enterprise Risk and People teams in the build-up and delivery of our programs
Engage with HSE and People professionals from around the world as you grow your skillset and understanding of the challenges of operating in a global environment
Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your career, and you'll be intertwined with all of our graduates across the APAC business. Alongside your peers, managers and mentors, we'll help you detangle any challenges along the way.

Psychometric assessments:These quick tests give us a glimpse into how you like to work and your strengths in relation to the role, complementing what we learn during your interview.
