The opportunity
In this role, you will provide administrative and entry level technical support within our Migration Support program. You will collaborate to ensure our programs provide dignity and respect, are responsive to identity, culture and diversity, and are informed by the lived experience of vulnerable migrants. In addition, you will coordinate, supervise, train and support volunteers and assist with contributing to projects.
What you will bring
* Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Farsi, Pakistani, Punjabi, Nepalese, Chin, Karen, Oromo, Vietnamese
* An understanding of issues affecting people impacted by migration
* Experience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
* Experience in coordinating, managing, training and supporting volunteers
* Sound project management experience
* Excellent general office administration and records management skills
* Sound verbal and written communication skills
* Highly developed organisational and time management skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as outlook, word and excel
* Working with vulnerable people check

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Hourly rate from $38.65 + casual loading + superannuation + salary packaging.
