The Opportunity:
The role of Customer Projects Manager is to support customers by coordinating Sales, Planning & Operations activities for component supply.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all support aspects of a customer shutdown are met, including responding to Reman Component queries, processing sales orders & quotes in conjunction with the Sales Demand Plan to ensure operational standards are met.
Manage orders, including processing customer enquiries, quotes, purchase orders, backorder management, and delivery status to achieve DIFOT (Delivery In Full & On Time).
Manage shutdowns by comparing Sales Orders to the Sales Demand Plan to ensure continuity of dates between Sales, Planning, and Operations.
Ensure all Sales Orders are invoiced, assist regional teams with additional core charges, and process credits in line with Komatsu policy.
Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance activities to drive efficiency.
Act as an effective communication conduit between departments to ensure understanding of the voice of the Customer and provide feedback.
Manage the Customer Projects Team to comply with policies and procedures, ensuring timely resolution of issues and implementation of business improvements.
Identify, manage, and report on KPIs for the Customer Projects Team to enhance customer satisfaction.
Serve as an escalation point for component supply issues and drive resolution outcomes.
Identify and implement activities to improve component cycle time.
Ensure execution of component tracking for deliveries.

Knowledge of earthmoving equipment and mechanical aptitude.

Understanding of Parts Sales, negotiation skills, and strong ethics.
Ability to work under pressure and independently.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Trade or tertiary qualification is highly regarded.
