As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will be part of the QLD sales leadership team and take the reins for leading and developing our On the Go Commercial field team to achieve State sales targets
**Key Responsibilities**
- Effectively leading and mentoring the field team, providing continual feedback and improvement plans
- Development and execution of market share growth strategies as well as developing and implementing tactical sales improvement plans
- Identifying and targeting potential new clients as well as running existing current client partnerships that are already in place
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline of new projects
- Develop relationships with specifying individuals and companies building PPG as the prominent specification brand
- Improve the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy
- Establish key contacts with Architects, Commercial builders, Property Managers, Project Managers and Painting Contractors.
**Qualifications**
- Previous sales management experience ideally from the building / construction industry
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade, while continuing to maintain solid relationships.
- Expertise in developing sales strategies to develop new business opportunities and grow existing relationships.
- Strong commercial acuity with a consistent track record to effectively manage the challenges of sales volume, margin and market share growth
