Munchkins Early Education Centre is seeking exceptional and dedicated educators to join our established team. We are keen to engage with individuals studying their Graduate Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood and mentor them as they progress towards their formal qualification.
You will work alongside a highly experienced and qualified teaching team, gaining excellent practical experience while you work.
We are a child-safe organisation and are committed to upholding every element of child safety. We want children to be safe, happy, and empowered. We support and respect all children, our teaching teams and volunteers.
We are committed to all children's safety, participation, and empowerment.
We are seeking experienced and qualified Diploma applicants who may be studying towards their Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood or Bachelor of Early Childhood.
We are seeking candidates that are experienced and passionate about early childhood education and who can display genuine and nurturing early childhood skills.
You will be required to display a strong strengths-based approach to your role and have good communication skills, a nurturing nature, and the ability to develop strong family partnerships - these are at the core of everything we do.
* You need to have some experience in the Early Years and be able to present a current resume that clearly outlines this experience.
* We are only interested in positive, professional, and dedicated individuals - we love what we do and want to be surrounded by other upbeat personalities!
* Knowledge of the EYLF/QKLG and the ability to support our lead educators as they deliver the curriculum. As a co-educator you should still have a solid understanding of the EYLF, as we use a collaborative team-based approach.
* An ability to interpret curriculum documents and a clear understanding of the planning cycle would also be expected. We can provide mentoring in this process, but a willingness to up skill is desired.
* It would be best if you were committed to ongoing learning and professional development as again this is at the core of our beliefs in that as early childhood professionals, we never stop learning.
* You must hold the mandatory requirements of our legislative guidelines; blue card, first aid, child protection training and be able to commit to the centre in a long-term capacity - as consistency for the children and their families is extremely important to us and our teams become like our second family.
* The ability to work five days a week is also preferred for consistency of care for our children and families.
* Your resume must have references that we can call upon to validate your experience and attitude. We will be calling references reflective of our Child Safe Standards and Practices.
* Our company pays over and above award conditions - we are owned by an Early Childhood Teacher who values the profession of Early Childhood and honours the work that we do.
If you feel you will fit with our company ethos, have energy, enthusiasm and are looking for a change to a positive, supportive, and inclusive early learning culture, send your resume to -
