**Your day to day**
As a Bar Supervisor at Lovedale Bistro, you will be supporting the Venue Manager in maintaining the high standards we hold in our Hotel.
This includes, but is not limited to, managing restaurant reservations & leading by example on the floor, along with assisting in the training and development of our close-knit team.
Here you'll be pouring local brews, serving from our extensive list of Hunter Valley wines and creating cocktails.
You will need to know your way around a coffee machine and working knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits.
You will also be responsible for staff management, inventory controls, compliance of licensing legislation and health & safety requirements.
**What we need from you**
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role for 1-2 years, understanding of inventory and staff management as well as passion for the industry.
Great attention to detail and creative thinking is key to ensuring that we are always improving our ways of working.
Flexibility in shifts and adapting to changing rosters depending on business trends.
Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will turn potential issues into opportunities, and working with multiple departments maintaining professional relationships.
You must have a current NSW RSA Certificate.
You must also meet the legal requirement to work in Australia.
