We are seeking a Water and Sewer Strategic Planning Engineer to join our Utilities Planning and Design team. This position supports the strategic planning, development, and delivery of Council's water supply and wastewater systems, including maintaining hydraulic models, reviewing plans, providing strategic advice, and coordinating data with the Asset team.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or significant relevant experience. Recent experience in the water supply and/or wastewater industry. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Project planning and management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing. On a Typical Day This Role Will Update and analyze water and wastewater functions using hydraulic models. Assist in preparing servicing strategies. Develop Project Requirement Statements (PRS). Review planning proposals and development applications, providing strategic advice. Work with the asset team to validate network data and GIS information. Remuneration And Benefits Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, 35 hours/week.
Salary: $94,301.43 to $105,552.46, depending on skills and experience.
Allowances: 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance, Leaseback or Vehicle allowances.
