We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Technician to join our workshop team in Bunbury.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional service to customers by completing repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
* Diagnose and repair Cummins engines, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to the Supervisor.
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, warranty claims, quality forms, or business system input screens.
Requirements:
* Holding a WA driver's license is mandatory.
* Australian working rights are necessary.
* Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, or Light Vehicle with Heavy Diesel experience is required.
* Cummins experience is not essential, but engine experience is desirable.
* Being safety-focused and able to work effectively in a team environment is crucial.
Qualifications:
* An apprentice-trained Engine Technician would be preferred.
* Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution is required.
* A locally valid driving permit would be beneficial.
Experience:
* A minimal level of workshop experience is necessary.
* Basic knowledge of and/or experience with engine products is required.
