About the Role
As a Support Services Administrator, you will:
* Provide a professional, welcoming and empathetic first point of contact for clients, staff and visitors across in‑person, phone and email interactions, supporting intake, appointments and service navigation.
* Respond calmly and confidently to distressed or heightened clients, using de‑escalation techniques, safety procedures and timely escalation to support wellbeing and safety.
* Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and records, contributing to continuity of care, risk management and high‑quality service delivery.
* Support the safe, efficient daily operation of the site through coordination of building access, reception operations, office administration, safety systems and shared resources.
Position Details
* Multiple, Part time, Fixed term positions until 28 May 2027
* 0.4 FTE positions working either Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday
* Days are 8:54am till 5:00pm
* These positions can be rostered across any of our Geelong or Colac sites and require flexibility with short‑notice location changes
* $76,550 (pro-rata) p/a + Super + Salary Packaging
What We’re Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
* Qualification in Business Administration, Community Services, or equivalent experience providing frontline or reception-based services.
* Demonstrated experience or transferable skills in engaging with diverse clients, including the ability to respond calmly, professionally and appropriately to escalated, distressed or complex situations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate support while maintaining clear, professional boundaries.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, staff and external stakeholders and apply sound judgement to support safety and wellbeing.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and client information systems, with strong organisational skills, initiative and adaptability to manage workload.
