Operations Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the full-time role of Operations Manager at our foodservice branch located in Dubbo.
* Reporting to the Branch Manager, this senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehousing and distribution operations within the branch.
* This is a physically demanding position that requires heavy lifting.
About the Role
The Operations Manager will be accountable for monitoring expenses related to transport, equipment and the warehouse. Key responsibilities include:
1. Control transport, equipment and warehouse expenses including rosters and wages.
2. Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to.
3. Maintain all vehicle and equipment service and maintenance schedules.
4. Coach, mentor and execute performance management as required.
5. Conduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systems.
6. Generate, analyse and maintain reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
* A current forklift licence (essential).
* A current MR licence (essential).
* Excellent communication, organisation and managerial skills.
* The ability to work under pressure and as part of a diverse team.
* Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
* The ability to provide leadership and motivation to a team of up to 30 workers.
