Based in our Perth office, this role sits within our Finance team and is responsible for providing client billing assistance to our legal secretaries, including the maintenance of client and matter level billing data, and managing e-billing and related processes for the firm's clients who require their invoices to be transmitted electronically. This role will also involve additional finance related tasks such processing time and disbursement write-offs, bill reversals, write-offs and credit notes, and assisting other members of the AU Finance team in investigating, suggesting and implementing continuous improvement, where required.
To succeed in this role, previous client billing experience is essential, whether that be in a finance-related role or secretarial role, but ideally in an accounting or legal environment. You will have strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. You will use initiative and take a lateral approach to problem solving. An excellent client focus, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to work as a strong team player, are essential.
