Your role
As the Assistant Store Manager your role is to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff supervision, inventory management and ensuring superior customer service, while contributing to achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive team environment.
Reporting to the Store Manager, this includes:
* Managing staff and merchandise to maximise sales and profits
* Provide superior customer service at all times, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and provide exceptional accuracy in all areas
* Ensure operational procedures are adhered to at all times
* Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity
* Be involved in all aspects of retail operations
* Ensure efficiency and productiveness within the team
Skills and experience:
* 2 years staff management and/or retail experience
* Effective and efficient verbal and written communication
* Self-confidence combined with strong emotional intelligence
* Are collaborative, co-operative, supportive, flexible and reliable in a team environment
* Respect and compliance for confidentiality of information
* Ability to make quick decisions
* Actively learn new processes and culture
* Possess a positive attitude, are not afraid of hard work or being on your feet, and are able to identify what needs to be done .... and do it
