About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Auctions Room Manager to join our team in Sunbury. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our auction operations, with a strong focus on earthmoving, transport, and equipment sales. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day auction room activities, managing consignments, liaising with buyers and sellers, and ensuring professional, efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the auction room.
Liaise with vendors, buyers, and internal teams to coordinate auctions.
Assist with the assessment and preparation of stock for auction.
Support auctioneers with lot presentation and room organisation.
Maintain accurate records and reports using auction and inventory software.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and buyers.
About You
Background in earthmoving, transport, or heavy equipment is essential.
Strong computer literacy and confidence using software systems.
Background in valuation is highly regarded but not essential.
A truck licence is highly regarded but not essential.
A current driver’s licence is required.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with attention to detail.
