An exciting opportunity has become available in our Sunshine Coast head office for a Home Warranty Insurance Specialist to join our team.
This position serves to ensure full compliance in Home Warranty Insurance Practices nationwide and any related purchases and documents are in place and compliant, according to each State Based requirement.
* Purchase and manage Home Warranty Insurance for approved repairs (QBCC, VMIA, HBCF, BII).
* Process increases and refunds following variation approvals.
* Purchase QLeave and CITB levies.
* Liaise with brokers for applications, increases, and refunds.
* Finalise policies and notify QLeave of ECD changes.
* Follow up on signed documents from insured parties.
* Coordinate with supervisors to ensure insurance is in place before work begins.
* Assist with Extension of Time contracts.
* Report on HWI updates, limits, and balances to management.
* Maintain and improve process documentation.
* Support other staff with data entry and invoicing as needed.
* Conduct audits and compliance checks on internal and client systems.
* Ensure all reporting meets service level agreements with accuracy and quality.
* Uphold health and safety policies and legislative requirements.
*What you will need:*
* Experience in a similar role within the insurance building space is highly desirable.
* Administration experience.
* High-level computer skills across systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs.
* A good typing speed.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of a highly successful, KPI driven team.
* Experience and knowledge in Home Warranty Insurance.
