Due to a retirement after 21 years and continued success and growth in their respective field, Absolute Payroll is thrilled to be working again with one of Australia’s leading payroll financial solutions providers!

We are currently assisting them with a Salary Packaging Administrating Supervisor position, and would love to hear from Payroll Professionals interested in using their payroll experience in a new and different way—helping to grow, develop, and mentor an existing team of two.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and help shape a small but rapidly growing finance department!

Nuts & Bolts:

* Support and guide the Salary Packaging administration team to achieve client outcomes
* Maintain technical and administrative skills related to payroll functions
* Keep staff updated on legislative and client benefit changes
* Manage key client relationships at a payroll/accounting level, both internally and externally
* Review and provide feedback on administration tasks and call quality to increase client satisfaction
* Provide up-to-date information on products and benefits for clients
* Identify training and development opportunities within the team
* Coordinate workflow daily, weekly, and monthly
* Manage client escalations and complaints to resolution, logging all complaints
* Develop, implement, and review administration processes, updating the team as needed
* Demonstrate experience managing a team to meet goals and objectives
* Coordinate workflow and priorities effectively
* Deliver quality outcomes within deadlines
* Maintain accurate numeracy skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of Fringe Benefit Tax across client types
* Knowledge of industry trends in leasing and vehicle management
* Experience with advanced payroll systems
* Able to adapt processes to manage change within the team and industry


About You:

* Payroll, accounting, or customer service experience
* A self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
* Previous team leadership experience is highly regarded
* Strong communication and customer service skills
