As a growing boutique PCO, we deliver between 10 to 15 multi-day conferences and exhibitions across Australia and New Zealand for member associations, corporates, faith-based organisations and government agencies across education, architecture, building, medical and healthcare sectors, and more. While we're adaptable across industries, we specialise in conferences and exhibitions of 150–1,000 delegates. We're focused on doing what we do well, so our clients can rely on us to deliver high-quality events with confidence and consistency.
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced person to take on the role of Event & Sponsorship Manager which will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a portfolio of our conferences. This is a part-time hybrid role (offices based in Collingwood, VIC) with designated work-from-home days. Full-time capacity may be considered for the right candidate. Interstate and occasional international travel will be required for event delivery (generally up to 5 trips per annum).
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, operational planning, budget management and supplier coordination to ensure seamless delivery. You will manage key stakeholder relationships and uphold a high standard of operational excellence across each event.
Alongside event delivery, you will lead sponsorship strategy and acquisition efforts, develop partnership opportunities, manage sponsor relationships and ensure all sponsor entitlements are delivered to expectation. This role requires strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in event management, including event planning, coordination and logistics delivery
* Demonstrated experience in sponsorship acquisition, partnership development and client relationship management
* Strong organisational, multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to problem-solve under pressure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage a broad range of stakeholders
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment
* Experience managing event budgets and working with event technology platforms
* Current Working with Children Check (or eligibility to obtain one)
