Overview
Champion Cabinets is a full service cabinetry manufacturer, offering a lifetime of expertise utilizing 3D graphic design, quality manufacturing and professional installation. We sell custom design cabinets constructed with Australian made materials with high standard for quality and precision.
Responsibilities
* Interpret design plans and technical drawings to identify project requirements.
* Operate CAD software and CNC machinery to manufacture custom cabinetry.
* Install and adjust hardware for cabinetry and furniture products.
* Interpret design plans, technical drawings, and job specifications to identify project requirements.
* Select and work with a wide range of materials including Australian timber and engineered wood products.
* Operate and program CAD software and CNC machinery to accurately cut, shape, and prepare cabinet components.
* Manufacture custom cabinetry and furniture pieces according to detailed plans and client specifications.
* Carry out professional installation of cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and large-scale commercial projects.
* Produce detailed joinery and fittings for specialised projects. Assemble individual components to create complete cabinetry units and furniture products.
* Apply finishing techniques to enhance durability and appearance.
* Install and adjust hardware including hinges, locks, handles, runners, drawers, and shelving systems.
* Restore, repair, and refurbish cabinetry and furniture, including antique pieces, to extend their lifespan and maintain quality.
* Meet the general construction program timeline.
* Follow OHS policy and procedure on the site.
Qualifications and Skills
* At least a relevant AQF Certificate III (including 2 years of on the job training), or AQF Certificate IV obtained in Australia plus one year of full-time work experience, or at least 3 years of full-time work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
* Extensive knowledge of cabinetmaking.
* Strong woodworking and joinery skills.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and CNC/automated woodworking machinery.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D design plans.
* Precision measuring, cutting, and assembling skills.
Salary and Work Hours
We offer annual salary from $75,000 to $85,000 plus super with 38 working hours per week.
