Overview: The Principal Security Leader role drives strategic security adoption across the entire Australia and New Zealand Public Sector portfolio, encompassing Federal Government, National Security, Defence, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Education and Research, and State/Local Government segments. This role combines deep cross-sector security expertise with business development acumen to create repeatable patterns for security modernization and adoption at scale within diverse government contexts.
Strategic Impact: Operating across multiple public sector domains with distinct security requirements, regulatory and compliance frameworks, this role architects and executes security-focused GTM strategies that enable both \"market creation\" and \"market scaling\" across varied maturity levels. The position requires sophisticated engagement across technical and business stakeholders to drive cloud adoption through both one-to-one and one-to-many motions, while understanding the unique security and regulatory requirements of each sector. The position works in collaboration with partner teams including Compliance & Security Assurance, Public Policy and OCISO capabilities ensuring proactive positioning of cloud centric security models that enable broad based adoption whilst lifting the watermark of government and customer cyber capability.
