About this Opportunity
As the Strategic Shipbuilding Partner in Western Australia, Austal supports the Continuous Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Enterprise. We deliver multiple new defence force shipbuilding projects.
This role leads our Production Engineering organisation. It provides shipbuilding expertise to support the execution of Design Authority engineering intent across all programs.
* Expert shipbuilding and production engineering support will be provided to the SSA Engineering organisation in alignment with Design Authority intent.
* Manufacturing activities will be overseen to ensure execution in accordance with approved procedures and scope of work.
* Collaboration will occur closely with Supply Chain, Program Engineering Design, Austal, Production, Quality and Accuracy Control teams to deliver production scope.
You'll Need
* Relevant engineering qualification with direct shipbuilding experience.
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in a front-line management and supervisory role.
* Minimum 5+ years Shipbuilding design experience.
