About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accommodation Supervisor to join our team at a boutique hotel known for its exceptional guest experience and high presentation standards. This is a diverse, hands-on role that spans a broad scope of responsibilities—from actively assisting with room cleaning and presentation to overseeing the overall management of accommodation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping team
* Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met
* Actively assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas as required, leading by example
* Update room rates and packages as required
* Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to maintain performance standards
* Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring all areas are adequately stocked
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
* Support broader hotel operations and management tasks as needed
About You:
* Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role (essential)
* Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on guest needs and operational priorities
* Proficiency in housekeeping systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
* A flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to manage both operational and supervisory duties
