The Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Program provides a specialist, trauma-safe, and culturally safe response to children and young people who are displaying harmful sexual behaviours. The service offers opportunities for healing, support, counselling, and a therapeutic response, working holistically with all those around the child or young person.
The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for supervising the Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker positions for the Specialist HSB Program. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, cultural competence, and experience in working with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker positions
* Develop and implement strategies to support children and young people who display harmful sexual behaviours
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong working relationships
Requirements:
* Masters level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Aboriginal Studies, or a related field
* Experience in working with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma
* Cultural knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal values and practices
