Daimler Trucks Geraldton is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales & Delivery Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and enjoys coordinating people, processes, logistics, and customer communication from vehicle order through to final delivery.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience while supporting the sales, service, and delivery operations across our Mitsubishi Fuso, Mercedes‐Benz and Freightliner truck brands.
About the Role
As the Sales & Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing vehicle delivery processes, coordinating body builds and transport logistics, maintaining customer communication, and supporting the sales team with quotations, ordering, and administration.
No two days are the same — this role combines administration, customer service, logistics coordination, and sales support within the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Support
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
* Maintain regular communication with customers regarding delivery updates and build progress
* Prepare customer quotations and purchase orders
* Follow up outstanding information required for deliveries
* Maintain strong post‐delivery customer relationships and identify future sales opportunities
* Conduct outbound prospecting and follow‐up calls
Vehicle Delivery & Logistics Coordination
* Coordinate truck movements between workshops, body builders, transport companies and inspection facilities
* Organise DOT inspections, permits, registrations and licensing
* Track delivery schedules and monitor build progress
* Arrange freight and transport logistics for vehicle movements
* Prepare vehicle handover and delivery documentation
Administration & Systems
* Maintain delivery trackers, deal books and internal systems
* Manage filing systems, contracts, invoices and documentation
* Order vehicles through manufacturer systems and monitor arrival timeframes
* Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding deliveries
* Monitor PrixCar and supplier updates
Marketing Support
* Maintain online truck stock listings
* Coordinate newspaper advertising and stock promotions
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Confidence working with spreadsheets, systems and administration processes
* A proactive attitude and willingness to follow tasks through to completion
* The ability to work well within a team environment
Experience within the automotive, transport, logistics or dealership industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right candidate.
