We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative Physiotherapists to join our team on a casual basis to assist with leave cover and periods of increased demand.
Role Overview
Physiotherapists will provide services across acute clinical areas, including medical, oncology, general surgical, orthopaedics and critical care services.
Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to acute services
* Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence‐based practice
* Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department
* Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people
* Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services
Selection Criteria
* Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years of physiotherapy clinical experience
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Excellent clinical practice skills in assessment and intervention
* Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
* Weekday availability essential
