Based in Auburn, NSW, this role is pivotal in ensuring we have the right inventory, in the right place, at the right time.What you’ll do:Forecast & Optimize: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify demand trends and ensure optimal stock levels across our national branches and service vans.Enhance Inventory Efficiency: Minimize excess inventory, reduce obsolescence, and support process improvements in the planning and inventory teams.Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes.Drive Performance: Monitor key metrics such as parts availability, order fulfillment, and inventory turnover to drive efficiency and service excellence.What we’re looking for:3+ years in demand planning, inventory management, or procurement.Advanced Excel proficiency, strong analytical capabilities, and a customer-centric mindset.Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) and an understanding of trade compliance.Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.GVR is a part of Vontier (NYSE: VNT), a global industrial technology company uniting productivity, automation, and multi-energy technologies to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving, more connected mobility ecosystem.
