About us:
Infrastructure Asset Management (IAM) provides planning, construction, operation and maintenance of all Health Service physical facilities, engineering systems, plant and equipment to meet strategic objectives within a quality environment. IAM is staffed with professional, trade operational, and administrative staff. Trades include electrical, fitting, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, trade assistants and apprentices.
About you:
In your new role you will……
* Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
* Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Maintenance activities.
* Support business cases for capital investment by providing robust asset condition data and life cycle costing.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will…..
* Champion workforce planning activities including, culture improvements, apprentice recruitment, among others that reflect unit's goals and values.
* Provide accurate and clear direction and information to the Director of Infrastructure Asset Management on changing maintenance requirements pertinent to CHHHS facility issues, risks, and client expectations.
* Conduct regular, detailed site inspections alongside Facility Managers and MMO's to identify outstanding issues to ensure and maintain clear, accurate communication between all parties.
