Senior Commissioning Engineer Role
This role leads the commissioning function across complex high-voltage installations, overseeing FAT and SAT activities, technical interface coordination, and ensuring that commissioning outcomes meet safety, quality, and client expectations.
* Lead commissioning activities across primary and secondary systems, including EHV infrastructure, to deliver safe and efficient outcomes.
* Coordinate and perform FAT and SAT processes to verify system integrity and functionality.
* Prepare and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, test procedures, and completion documentation, highlighting key milestones and performance metrics.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders to foster effective communication and ensure successful project delivery.
* Support system integration, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert advice on IEC 61850 digital substations, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
* Maintain accurate and detailed test records, defect lists, and status reports, facilitating informed decision-making and enhancing overall team efficiency.
* Act as a technical mentor within the commissioning team, supporting junior engineers in their professional development and providing guidance on best practices and industry standards.
