About the Multiskilled Operator Role

We are seeking experienced operators to join our autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.

Our Olive Downs Complex project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah has commenced mining operations. Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full-service mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul, water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of mine infrastructure.

As a multiskilled operator, you will be required to operate plant safely and efficiently to meet operational production targets.

* Minimum of 1 year of prior working experience operating Dozer, Grader, Loader or Excavators in a coal mining environment (Ideally Lieb R9800/R9600/R9400 excavators, CAT haul trucks 793/794, D11/D10 dozers, 18M/24M Graders) or equivalent.
* Current and valid SSE signed verified machinery skills list (training transcripts), LMS documents
* Current Drivers Licence
* Current Standard 11
* Experience in hard rock mining operation desirable
* HR drivers licence

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 1 year of prior working experience operating heavy machinery in a coal mining environment.
2. Current and valid SSE signed verified machinery skills list (training transcripts), LMS documents.
3. Current drivers licence.
4. Current standard 11 qualification.
5. Experience in hard rock mining operation is desirable.
6. HR drivers licence.
