This role involves working with children who remain at home under ongoing intervention by Child Safety Services or are being reunified from out-of-home care.
The primary goal is to support clients of Child Safety Service Centres to exit the child protection system and prevent re-entry, aligning with the Society's mission.
This role requires compliance with the Human Services Quality Framework and the Child Protection Act 1999, as well as adherence to the Society's Child Protection Framework.
This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours/week) based in Bundaberg .
To be successful, you will meet the following criteria: Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioral Science Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in similar programs (preferred) Proficient in MS Office Experience working with at-risk children, young people, and families under child protection interventions Knowledge of Intensive Family Preservation and Reunification models Strong boundaries, task management, motivation, initiative, and creativity Ability to work well in a team and maintain confidentiality Effective communication and time management skills Respect for all individuals and understanding of risk management principles Willingness to complete pre-employment checks, including a National Criminal History Records Check and holding a current Blue Card COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not mandatory Ready to apply?
