DBCT P/L is seeking an
IT Infrastructure Specialist
to provide senior technical leadership across our core infrastructure services and help shape the future of our technology landscape.
As our IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will serve as the technical authority for designing, building, operating and uplifting DBCT P/L's corporate IT infrastructure
You'll drive lifecycle management, deliver complex infrastructure changes, collaborate with managed service providers, support the multi‑year technology roadmap and strengthen our security posture by contributing to operational security activities.
The ideal candidate thrives in roles that offer strong ownership and accountability, bringing confidence and capability to a hybrid landscape of IT and Operational Technologies. You'll excel at balancing 'business as usual' operations with ongoing continuous improvement, ensuring both stability and progress across complex environments. With experience working in 24/7 operations within asset‑intensive or similarly high‑availability industries, you will be well‑equipped to support resilient, reliable and safe technology outcomes.
What We Are Looking For
* Lead the reliable operation and continual improvement of core IT infrastructure services.
* Own technical delivery across identity, M365, server/virtualisation, endpoint, network, and storage platforms.
* Manage day‑to‑day infrastructure operations, including incident response and post‑incident reviews.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the IT Infrastructure team
* Plan and implement major upgrades, migrations and complex infrastructure changes.
* Maintain accurate asset, configuration and capacity data; drive lifecycle and technology roadmap outcomes.
* Work closely with internal teams, vendors and Managed Service Providers to ensure secure and fit‑for‑purpose services.
* Support cyber security operations across all Infosec domains (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).
* Contribute to the development of infrastructure standards, patterns and long‑term planning.
* Provide 24/7 on call support as part of a rotating roster.
* A Bachelor in IT or similar is desirable.
