About the role:
* Metal roofing installations, repairs and replacements
* Residential and light commercial projects
* Reading plans and working independently when required
* Working safely at heights and following SWMS
* Maintaining high-quality workmanship and site cleanliness
What we’re looking for:
* Trade-qualified roofer
* Proven metal roofing experience
* White Card (essential)
* Current driver’s licence & reliable transport
* Ability to work safely at heights
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Full Australian working rights (no working visas)

J&M Metal Roofing is a local Cairns roofing business and we’re seeking a reliable Roofing Labourer to assist our team on residential and commercial roofing projects.
This role suits someone physically fit, motivated, and willing to learn the roofing trade.
Duties include:
* Assisting roofers with metal roofing installs and repairs
* Carrying materials and tools
* Keeping job sites clean and safe
* Following WHS procedures and directions on site
* Working outdoors in all weather conditions
What we’re looking for:
* White Card (essential)
* Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
* Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
* Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Driver’s licence preferred
* Full Australian working rights (no working visas)
