The purpose of the Advisor (Insurance) is to support the PMD Branch and project teams to meet project objectives by ensuring insurance requirements are met, risk exposures managed effectively and compliance with policy and governance standards are maintained.
We are seeking an Advisor (Insurance) to join our team for a permanent opportunity commencing ASAP.
Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Proactively manage insurance-related financial transactions, including premium payments, recoveries, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and reconciliation.
* Maintain accurate insurance finance records and ensure compliance with organisational standards, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
* Prepare and deliver timely, accurate insurance and financial reports, including contingent liability and claims reporting and assist with the collation of documentation required for insurance claims, aligned with governance and legislative requirements.
* Administer and maintain spreadsheets, registers and insurance-specific systems while ensuring data accuracy and system functionality for reporting and management decision making.
* Actively contribute to refining insurance processes for continuous improvement and support capability uplift through training and guidance on insurance practices.
* Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties, including insurers, brokers, and Corporate Finance, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
* Maintain and update corporate forms, procedures, and supporting resources to ensure they remain accurate, current, and compliant with organisational requirements.
