The hospital has 8 operating theatres, an intensive care unit, coronary care unit, day surgery unit, medical/rehabilitation and surgical wards.

Responsibilities Providing comprehensive Physiotherapy services to inpatients (including inpatient rehab, orthopaedics, general surgery, cardiac and neurosurgery, ICU and CCU patients).
Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice.
Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department.
Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people.
Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services.
Assisting in clinical supervision of physiotherapy and allied health assistant students where appropriate.
Excellent clinical handover with multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
Excellent clinical practice skills to manage a high acuity caseload.
Previous hospital or rehab experience is preferred.
Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork.
Clinical skills in ICU preferred.
