Plantation Homes continues to lead the way in quality, choice, innovation and affordability – helping more Australians achieve a home they truly love. With a strong history of supporting meaningful career development, we are offering an opportunity where your experience and mature approach can make a measurable impact from day one.
We are seeking a seasoned professional, ideally with previous new home building experience or a solid understanding of the stages of residential construction. This knowledge will enable you to collaborate effectively with our Estimating, Procurement and Construction teams, support accurate scheduling, and contribute to the smooth and efficient progression of each build.
For individuals seeking career growth, development or future leadership opportunities, this role offers genuine potential. As our team continues to evolve, this position may develop into a Team Leader role – making it an excellent fit for someone who enjoys responsibility, works well with others and is motivated to grow within a respected builder.
About the Role
As the Scheduling Coordinator, you will work closely with internal teams and valued external partners to ensure that materials, services and labour are aligned with build timelines. This full‐time role is based at our Springwood office and is suited to someone who excels in collaborative environments, demonstrates strong judgement, and takes pride in working effectively to keep operations running to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Construction Supervisors, Estimators, Suppliers and Contractors to align deliveries and services with build schedules.
* Book delivery times with Supply Partners and coordinate logistics to keep projects on track.
* Support reductions in build times by helping prioritise and sequence work efficiently.
* Assist Operations and Construction teams in allocating and managing job workflows.
* Plan, schedule, dispatch and finalise required works across the build cycle.
* Identify issues, propose solutions, manage customer impact considerations, and elevate when required.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the leadership team and Construction Supervisors to ensure expectations are met and communication remains clear.
About You
You bring a mature, experienced perspective and are confident collaborating across teams. You understand the importance of accurate scheduling in residential construction and have either worked in the new home building industry or developed strong knowledge of the stages of a home build.
You are professional, organised, personable and reliable – someone who works effectively with others and remains composed under pressure. You enjoy contributing to operational efficiency, and you are motivated by opportunities for growth, progression and potential future leadership.
