Crop Farm Labourers Wanted
Crop farm labourers are required for the Beerwah and surrounding regions in Queensland. We have an opportunity for 20 x casual farm workers to join our team. The roles can vary and may include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manually harvest vegetables by hand or using hand tools, all training will be provided.
2. Sort, clean, and pack produce in the field according to quality standards.
3. Load harvested produce into bins or trailers.
4. Maintain cleanliness of the field and equipment.
5. Assist with planting, weeding, thinning, and other general field maintenance as needed.
6. Follow all food safety and farm hygiene practices.
Requirements:
* You must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.
* Be flexible in your approach to work.
* A great attitude with your work.
* Be able to work alone or part of a team.
Working Conditions:
* You will be required to work long shifts (10 hours a day).
* The term of work will be from January to January.
* You will be paid under the Horticulture Award (MA).
* The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Level 1 $ per hour up to Level 2 $ per hour.
Additional Information:
* Overtime rates will be paid where applicable.
* Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
