Job Opportunity: Building Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Building Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including developing and coordinating the implementation of fire safety audit programs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of building surveying principles and practices, as well as experience in working with relevant legislation and regulations.
About the Role:
* Develop and coordinate implementation and operations of the fire safety audit program
* Assist in the administration of applicable Acts to achieve the best built environment, health, welfare, and well-being of the community
* Undertake assessment of Construction Certificates and Complying Development Certificates as required and prepare detailed compliance reports
* Undertake critical stage inspections in accordance with accreditation levels
* Provide professional advice and guidance to the public on development-related matters
* Manage, assess, and process development assessments ranging in complexity and value
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying or equivalent to attain a registered Class of building surveyor - Building Inspector
2. Undertaking or completed training to achieve a registered Class of building surveyor - Building Inspector with NSW Fair Trading
3. Hold or be eligible to acquire a NSW WorkCover Construction Induction card
4. Class C Driver's Licence
