About the role
Designer Stone Benchtops is seeking an experienced stone mason manufacturer/installer to join our team based in Beenleigh, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the manufacture and installation of high-quality stone benchtops and other stone products for our residential and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricating and installing stone benchtops, vanities, and other stone surfaces to client specifications
* Templating, measuring and assessing job sites to ensure accurate fitment of stone products
* Operating machinery and tools required for stone cutting, shaping, and polishing
* Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional customer service
* Ensuring all work meets relevant building codes and safety standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Collaborating with the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a stone mason, preferably in the manufacture and installation of stone benchtops
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
* Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations
