Our client is seeking a motivated Geologist to join their team supporting a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and ongoing project development activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early to mid-career geologist to gain hands-on exposure to study work, geological data management, and technical reporting within a multidisciplinary project environment. The Project Geologist will support senior geology and study team members through geological data validation, interpretation support, and report preparation. You will play a key role in ensuring geological datasets are accurate, well-documented, and fit-for-purpose for use in resource estimation, mine planning, and technical studies. This role suits a detail-oriented geologist with 2–5 years' experience, strong data management skills, and a developing capability in technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior geologists with geological inputs to the PFS and subsequent study phases.
• Validate, manage, and maintain geological datasets including drilling, sampling, logging, and assay data.
• Assist with geological interpretations, cross-sections, plans, and 3D model inputs as required.
• Contribute to the preparation of geological reports, technical memoranda, and study documentation.
• Compile and present geological data summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with other disciplines (mining, metallurgy, engineering) to ensure geological inputs align with study requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and data sources.
• Provide general project support to senior team members as required.
* Periodic fieldwork involving geological mapping, drill supervision, sampling and supervision of various consultants.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related discipline.
• 2–5 years' experience in mineral exploration, resource development, or mining project environments.
• Experience with geological data validation, QA/QC, and database management.
