About the Role :
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technical Support specialist to join and support our team. You will handle the setup and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems, as well as resolve user issues both in person and remotely. A background in technical support, along with basic knowledge of LAN / WAN and IP telephony, is essential. Good communication and teamwork skills will be key to your success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and business applications.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Set up and manage new users' accounts and profiles, and deal with password issues.
Communicate staff through a series of actions: face-to-face, over the phone or remotely to help set up systems or resolve issues.
Support video conference devices and functions.
Support IT asset management and perform ad hoc duties as required.
About You :
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
2 to 3 years of experience in a technical support role or similar.
Understanding for physical assets.
Basic Network (LAN, WAN, IP) knowledge.
Basic Voice Network (IP Phone) knowledge.
