About the Role
We are seeking anexperienced and proactive professional to lead the development andmanagement of operational risk systems for the Water section. Thispivotal role involves overseeing compliance with criticallegislative and regulatory requirements, including dam safety,high-risk tasks, and environmental standards. You will facilitaterisk reviews, coordinate group risk assessments, and producehigh-quality supporting documentation.
As a key advisor, you'll champion risk management tools, deliver training, andensure strategic and operational documentation meets ISO14001/9001EMS/QMS and NATA 17025 certification standards. Responsibilitiesinclude audit preparation and participation, managing correctiveactions, monitoring compliance activities, and advising onlegislative changes. You will also lead document control processes,develop training packages, and provide technical support to ensurebest practice across all operational areas.

About You
Our ideal candidatewill have:
* Comprehensiveknowledge of quality management systems, including experiencedeveloping and implementing systems to comply with therequirements of ISO9001, 14001, 17025 etc. to achieve andmaintain certification.
* Tertiaryqualifications in business administration, risk management,and/or project management.
* Substantialexperience in a similar position that includes technical andprocess writing, quality control and risk management experiencefor a large, diverse organisation.
* High level ofproficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, including, MSViso, MS Project, PDF Writer
* Extensiveknowledge and proficiency in document managements systems,including Paradigm.
* Ability toconduct audits, prepare audit reports and present auditfindings.
