Finance Business Partner
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial support to drive business performance across our network of companies. You will apply your analytical skills and commercial acumen to provide valuable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal skills, professional assertiveness, and exceptional multitasking abilities. You will be working closely with General Managers to understand business drivers, influence commercial outcomes, and support strategic planning.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar industry or role, with familiarity of modern awards pertaining to social, community, home care, and disability services. You will also have advanced Excel skills and experience with Business Central software.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing forward-looking financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to guide business performance.
* Preparing key finance reports, including month-end deliverables and variance analysis.
* Partnering with General Managers to understand business drivers, influence commercial outcomes, and support strategic planning.
* Ensuring accuracy of financial information, reconciliations, and compliance obligations (GST, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, FBT, etc.).
* Monitoring cashflow and overseeing payments.
* Driving continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting.
* Leveraging Business Central and other systems to enhance visibility and decision-making.
* Providing guidance and mentorship to Finance Officers and Contracts Officers.
You'll Bring:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar industry/role.
* Familiarity of Modern Awards pertaining to Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010; Aged Care Award 2010; Nurses Award; Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020.
* Strong interpersonal skills, professional assertiveness, and exceptional multitasking abilities.
* Proactive problem-solving skills with strong analytical decision-making.
* Advanced Excel Skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Hold or willing to obtain: Working with Children Suitability Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening.
* Experience with Business Central software.
