Leading a small but high-performing team, the General Manager Product and Innovation will investigate, develop and launch new products that meet emerging industry and learner needs, collaborate across the organisation to embed innovation into teaching, and harness technology and AI to enhance and personalise learning delivery. You will design brand new products, as well as repurpose or reimagine existing solutions to serve new markets. You will open doors with industry, building relationships that drive co-funded initiatives and innovation pipelines, and expand the product offering and sources of income for the organisation. This role works upstream of the BAU - experimenting, innovating, evolving ideas, and working through to delivery and evaluation.To be considered for this role you will have proven experience in product innovation and go-to-market delivery. You will bring a commercial mindset and strong industry engagement skills, and your experience throughout your career has seen you be nimble and entrepreneurial while still navigating governance structures. You thrive in an environment where you have the backing and flexibility to turn ideas into action through creative means and meaningful connection across industry and Government. You embrace the concept of entrepreneurial innovation, while also appreciating the commercial realities and priorities of new product development. You have a track record of successful go-to-market projects, the ability to engage broadly and forge commercial partnerships with industry, and the creativity to think beyond traditional delivery models.
