Opal Fibre Packaging provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Warehouse Supervisor to manage all aspects of our Huonville warehouse in a stand‑alone role.
The key focus of this role will be to:
* Personally manage all day‑to‑day warehouse operations and maintain the stock management system
* Individually receive, process, and dispatch customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Monitor inventory levels and place stock orders as needed
* Carry out all warehouse activities directly, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with customer and business requirements
* Load and unload trucks yourself, following safe operating procedures, and ensure all outbound products have the correct documentation
* Accurately receipt all inward and outward goods, maintaining up‑to‑date records
* Record and manage pallet returns/de‑hires, working to minimise losses and recovery costs

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
* Experience and understanding in warehouse operations
* Prior experience in using SAP or similar systems would be highly regarded
* The ability to work independently / autonomously will be essential
* A current driver's license & a current forklift license (with experience) will be required
* Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* Experience in conducting warehouse operations with a customer‑centric environment
* Knowledge of planning techniques and supply chain principles
* The ability to prioritize and work to set deadlines
