Job no: ****** Work type: Casual Location: Yorke and Mid North Categories: Catering and Hospitality Salary: WHA5 $30.39-$30.70 per hour + 25% casual loading / WHA4 $29.70-$30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading Contract: Casual (up to 31 July 2026), working over a 7 day roster Eligibility: Open to Everyone
Responsibilities
* Ensure production and distribution of food service is maintained to appropriate standards efficiently.
* Order non‐imprest food supplies.
* Plate meals and select menus.
* Maintain quality control of food production to acceptable standards.
* Prepare and cook bulk meals, including dietary requirements.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of safe working conditions, food storage and correct food handling techniques.
* Experience in preparing and cooking bulk meals and for dietary requirements.
* Proven ability to work well within a team environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances.
