What are you going to do
As part of the Maintenance Planning & Engineering team, you'll create and manage work orders, support shutdown planning for fixed plant equipment, optimise resources, review asset condition, and monitor cost performance.
This is an 5:2/4:3 roster position, on a 6 month contract.
* Review and prioritise approved maintenance notifications and provide feedback to originators.
* Estimate labour, equipment downtime, and resource requirements for non-urgent work.
* Plan detailed work orders and coordinate specialised external contractors when required.
* Analyse maintenance history and ensure accurate data updates for damage and failure causes.
* Initiate warranty and repairable/rotable processes for corrective maintenance tasks.
* Review upcoming work against asset criticality, safety, statutory and project requirements.
* Identify and resolve scope conflicts, adjusting downtime and schedules as necessary.
* Monitor planned vs actual costs, support budget forecasting, and escalate major variances.
Essential skills and knowledge
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
* Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
* Experience in power station maintenance or a similar industry
* Knowledge of maintenance management systems such as SAP
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Willingness to work in a remote mine site on an 5:2/4:3 roster
* You must be located in Australia and have current right to work to be considered for this role
* You must have a full manual driving licence to be considered
